building a better future

Paint SLPV Paint SLPV aims to transform the village of Sir Lowry’s Pass into a vibrant and colorful community. Through murals and street art, the project seeks to improve the village’s appearance and foster a sense of pride and unity among its residents. It also focuses on empowering disadvantaged youth – especially those with physical or mental disabilities – by involving them in creative workshops and offering them training and employment opportunities. chevron_right
North Kenya Support Association How do I feed 1,000 children every day? Father Francis asks himself this question every day. His school homes are home to 500 former street children, 380 orphaned girls, and 80 HIV+ children. Two additional homes care for 50 physically and mentally disabled children. Klaus Holzäpfel's North Kenya Association is currently supporting him with drip irrigation for his own vegetable gardens. Children are empowered and encouraged to lead independent lives. chevron_right
Lernfreunde-Haus Uneson Karlsruhe Lernfreunde-Haus Uneson Karlsruhe, a project of UNESON (United Social Network e.V.), provides crucial educational and integration support for newly arrived children and youth (approx. 5-16 years) in Karlsruhe, many of whom are refugees.
